Safety Information

General handling of open flames:
Never leave burning candles and tea lights unattended. Extinguish the flame even if the room is only left for a short time.

Only use candles and tea lights on non-flammable surfaces.

Place candles at a sufficient distance from easily flammable objects such as curtains and drapes. Maintain a minimum distance of 40 cm from the ceiling and 10 cm between two candles.

Avoid drafts:
Avoid drafts to ensure even burning without sooting or dripping.

Candle position:
Always place candles upright. If sooting or dripping occurs, trim the wick when the flame is extinguished.

Protection of children and pets:
Never leave children unattended with burning candles. Pay special attention when pets are in the room, as their fur can easily ignite.

Cooling time:
Allow candles and tea lights to cool sufficiently after extinguishing before transporting or putting them away. Misaligned wicks can otherwise pose a fire hazard.

Suitable containers:
Only use tea lights in appropriate, non-combustible containers such as metal, aluminum, or glass. These are usually included.

Extinguishing the flame:
Never use water to extinguish candles or tea lights.
